Maximilian Stafford is a versatile creative producer who develops and executes a wide range of projects, from narratives and music videos to documentaries and commercials. Maximilian handles every side of production: video, photo, and creative direction, on projects of all sizes. Whether he's leading a 60-person crew or doing it all himself (gear list here), Max is far more than just a desk-bound, paperwork-drowned producer.

Born in Los Angeles, Max's storytelling journey began sitting in awe post-credits of The Wizard of Oz when he was four years old. Growing up, Maximilian thrived in broadcast journalism and video production, unearthing his true passion for creative producing. Maximilian graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts with a B.A. in Cinema and Media Studies and an Entertainment Industry Minor.

Maximilian has collaborated with incredible talents like Roddy Ricch and Yung Gravy, and industry giants like Mercedes Benz and the Olympics. He is the founder of Ground Floor, where he leads a wide variety of creative initiatives. What separates Maximilian is his enthusiasm for every project, and his ability to set up other creatives for success. Maximilian enjoys looking at every project from a 1,000-foot view while also zooming in to let his creative eye focus on the details.

Themes of perseverance, resilience, and the indomitable human spirit permeate Maximilian's work, asserting his belief that we can all find refuge in the stories we share. Maximilian aims to create work that feels fresh but resonates familiarly.

His diverse experience includes working with Emmy Award Winning Stunt Teams, SFX, VFX, Animation, Camera Cars, Animal Trainers, Food/Beverage Stylists, Aerial/FPV Operators, Underwater Cinematography, and more. Maximilian’s producing experience spans advanced travel planning, crew transportation for 70+, large base camp coordination, union and non-union payroll, SAG payroll and performer contracts, working in extreme weather conditions, bid producing, and permitting iconic locations like the Hollywood Sign and Santa Monica Pier. His extensive producer rolodex  also features On-Set Security, LAPD,  Covid Compliance Officers (Maximilian included), Set Medics, Lifeguards, FilmLA Coordinators and the LA Chamber of Commerce.
